FROM JONATHAN’S DESK

You know, Christmas is coming next week, and if you’re like me, you know the best time to do your Christmas shopping is during the last few days leading up to Christmas. This week, I’ve decided to provide a service to all the husbands out there who want to get the perfect gift for the “little lady.” So, here are the top ten Christmas gift ideas for your “sugar plum.”

10) A Waffle Iron – You love waffles, your wife loves
to cook for you. Need I say more?
9) A Brand New Apron – Keep her clean while she
cooks your dinner.
8) Self-propelled Mower – Don’t let her use all her energy pushing a heavy lawnmower around. She needs to save some of that energy to cook.
7) Romantic Dinner – Give her a break from all that cooking and take her some place special, like Hooter’s.
6) Chicks Love Guns!
5) During the holidays, women tend to “let themselves go” (if you know what I mean). Why not show her you care by getting her a case of Slim Fast. Get it at Costco or Sam’s where you can buy in bulk.
4) A Blu-ray Disc Player. Wives are so into pixels and resolution.
3) Chicks Love Power Tools!
2) Nothing says “I love you” like an NFL licensed authentic jersey of your favorite team.
1) Women like to talk. Nothing would please your wife more than for you to listen to her go on and on about her feelings. But, sometimes we husbands just don’t have time to listen. So, buy her a Panasonic digital voice recorder. When she starts to talk, tell her to speak into the microphone and you’ll listen to it when you have time. Oh, and make sure she knows if she needs anything, you’ll be at the Holiday Inn.

The thoughts and viewpoints expressed above are in no way endorsed by the Central Church of Christ eldership or staff, especially Jonathan Tucker. Use at your own risk.

Christ is Central to our Faith
"We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel..."

Colossians 1:3-5
