The family business over the years has been to produce the family where each individual grows more pleasing and acceptable to God Almighty each day. We make it our business to seek others to follow us as we strive; best we can, to follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Come, walk a ways with us. A Note to Central I am thankful for the elders, deacons. And each member of the Central congregation for continued support and encouragement of our service here in Dalton. Our Mission, with which you are very much involved, is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, as we pass through this part of the world. George
grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, near the base of Lookout Mountain. He obeyed
the gospel at age eleven during a gospel meeting with J.S. Winston in 1961. He
attended the Nineteenth and Williams Street Church of Christ (now Avondale
Church of Christ.) George is married to Alyce Johnson Carlisle, of Oak Ridge,
TN. They have three sons, Gervis (27) Caley (26) and Corey (24.) George is a
1976 graduate of East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions Knoxville, TN.
He and Alyce both are 1978, graduates of Heritage Christian University,
Florence, AL. George is also a 2000, graduate of Covenant College Lookout
Mountain, GA.
